There And Back Again: A Narnian's Tale by Grace Anna

   My grandparent's house is Narnia.
Their beautiful old brick residence is the home of the old professor, and the front porch door is the doorway to Narnia.

   See?   Narnia!
A simple step is all it takes
To come to where the trees awake
A dryad whispers in your ear,
"It's all safe, come play, my dear!"
And then you want to leap and dance
And then a fawn comes and you prance
With Mr. Tumnus, bless his soul,
And then you meet a little foal
Named Bree, and he is oh-so-wild
Rather like a foolish child.
"I want to see the world!" says he,
As he gallops wild and free,
And then it's time to go on home,
Back where the trees no longer roam.
But there will always be a place
Inside of you that never wakes
Until they call you back once more,
Just as you did that time before,
To have some crumpets with Lucy,
And maybe just a spot of tea.
And Aslan roars and you feel safe,
And you never want to wake.
~ Narnia, a poem by me because I'm just that awesome
