     I can't even count how many times I've read this book.   I've always loved stuffed animals and dolls (maybe a little too much).   I remember snuggling up with my favorite stuffed animal, Woof Woof, and reading this book with him.   You may not think a story about a vain porcelain rabbit would be full of action and raw emotion, but it is.
     The Miraculous Journey of Edward Tulane is the story of a porcelain rabbit named Edward.   He is doted on by his owner, Abilene Tulane.   Edward believes that Abilene is only for his comfort and protection.   He cannot stand it whenever any display of affection is shown towards him.   Later, Edward gets thrown off of a ship while on a trip with Abilene.   He is then picked up in a net by a fisherman and begins a very different, much less glamorous, life.
